Ingredients

2 tablespoons water

1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes

1/3 cup creme fraiche

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons sweet onion, roughly chopped

1 cup spinach

1 cup arugula

1/4 cup walnut oil

1/2 cup walnuts

Step by step

  1. Place walnuts in blender and pulse on setting 2 (chop) 4-5 times.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and process on setting 3 until mixture begins to get creamy. Do not over process. Let stand at room temperature 2 hours to let flavors develop before serving. Can be stored in refrigerator up to one week.
